Bernard Kempinski: Introduction to Railroads of the Civil War
Bernard Kempinski resides in Northern Virginia and is a published author and accomplished model railroader. He is currently building a model of the US Military Railroad’s Aquia Creek Line in 1863. You can learn more about his various projects here.

John Ott: Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood:
New Research on Thomas Rogers and his locomotives
John Ott is a Los Angeles-based science illustrator, American history enthusiast, and contributor to the Railway & Locomotive Historical Society's Railroad History magazine. You can learn more about his work here.

Nick Fry: Missouri’s 19th Century Railroads
Nick Fry is the curator of the John W. Barriger III National Railroad Library and a published author. You can learn more about the library here.
